Deborah Stuart and Will Cabell: "Home for Dinner"

Artist Deborah Stuart and Will Cabell: Deborah Stuart and Will Cabell are long-time school residency artists and performers. In music programs and workshops they may use guitar, mandolin, banjo, autoharp, and other instruments large and small (which might include anything from washboard to "homemade" instruments.) In puppet residencies for school they have worked with teachers to tie the activities and stories to the curriculum. They have toured at home and overseas, including a cultural exchange to Russia.

  • Deborah and Will also offer residencies and workshops on puppets and music
  • including building simple rod puppets and staging favorite books and stories
  • adding music to the experience. Longer residencies can be designed using shadow puppets as the art form
  • again with music and curriculum links.
