Althea Haropulos

Althea Haropulos is a freelance photographer based in Manchester, N.H. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Altheas educational background is in Television and Film at Northwestern University where she also minored in Art. After working in the entertainment industry in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston, Althea turned to photography as a more personal form of visual expression. Both her corporate and fine art work have been published and exhibited nationally and internationally. Her fine art photography is held in many private collections all over the United States. Althea has served as an Art Commissioner for the City of Manchester and is a Founding Board member of Arts Builds Community, a program funded by the Wallace Foundation. Her corporate clients include Hilton Hotels, Universal Pictures Television, CNA Insurance, and Easter Seals. Her exhibitions have included Photokina, Cologne, Germany; Les Recontres Internationale de la Photographie, Arles, France; Photo 88, New York, New York; NH Arts Biennial; Franco American Centre; Silver Cultural Arts Center. Her published works have included, Communication Arts, Artists Magazine, Pentax Life, and many other trade magazines.
